A sound cue i designed in fl studio using omnisphere 2 and 3rd-party vsts. Best used during a suspenseful/dramatic moment in a movie or video game.

Early june morning. Sound of birds and chipmunks in woods east of seattle, wa, usa. 24/48000 stereo pcm. Studio projects ldc 8" from ground 10' apart. Mossy trail in woods. High pass filter at 300 hhz.

I bravely snapped a pencil into three pieces and this is the sound it made when i broke the first bit off. All of my other pencils are now scared of me. Olympus ls-5, built-in mic capsules, no filtering.

Recorded by myself for a fight scene between a group of women. Reverse reverb put over the top. Created in reaper.

Sfx for a mail being delivered through a mail slot. It is a recorded with a hinged piece of metal screwed to wood because i no longer live in a place with a mail slot but needed the sound. Sounds a little thinner than a real one but it served my purposes. Recorded on a sd 702 with an ntg1 in a small video studio with cement floor and treated walls and ceiling. The beefier dropping mail sound was recoded in a small hallway with tile floor.

The sounds of a soft summer evening storm in the city drawing to a close. Recorded on a blue yeti from my studio window that faces the gangway between buildings. Some distant sounds of my partner in the apartment can be heard within the first 30 seconds. Throughout the remainder, there are occasional sounds from the street as cars pass on the wet road.

This is an extremely unconventional sound. I actually made two reeses in harmor but i didnt distort them. I made a pattern with them both having the same midi and then i recorded that. I then distorted and resampled that recording multiple times. This was the end product.

Some synth sound i made maybe about a year ago. With actually a really simple soft synth, the fl studio wasp xt. Just got that synth to a certain pleasing setting, then put an lfo high pass and flange and the right amount of distortion. Enjoy.

The "concrete cello" pack is a collection of scraping, scratchy and droning improvisations on the cello focussing on the creation of sounds to be used as base materials for future compositions. They were originally recorded in 2019 to be used in as sound design elements for the documentary "hotel regina" by director matthias berger for which i composed the music. Studio recordings of handling a small metal mechanical device for foley purposes. Originally used to foley handling sounds of a tattoo machine, but could also be used for guns, surgical instruments etc. Recorded with an at-4047/sv large-diaphragm condenser mic.
